GSK’s Physiogel launches ‘Free In My Skin’ campaign

To help combat and prevent this problem, GlaxoSmithKline’s Consumer Healthcare Division, with its flagship skin health brand Physiogel, launched the “Free In My Skin” campaign which seeks to enable women to find the right solutions to free themselves from dry and sensitive skin. Physiogel believes in freeing the strength in sensitivity.

Many women claim to have dry and sensitive skin. In the Philippines, about 71% and 61% of the women population are having sensitive face and body skin, respectively. Skin dryness and sensitivity are caused by pollutants and irritants that get into contact with skin of most women. However, not many know how to deal with this skin problem.

Heather Pelier, incoming GM at GSK Consumer Healthcare Division, said that with GSK’s mission to help people do more, feel better and live longer, the 2015 Physiogel activation campaign serves as an effective long-term solution for dry and sensitive skin.

The Free In My Skin movement starts with self-discovery by making women more aware of themselves and challenging them to look past their skin insecurities so they can discover their full potential. This self-discovery starts by taking the Freedom List Challenge, Physiogel’s suggested guide in the form of a lifestyle online quiz (AVAILABLE HERE) that is a representation of what women can achieve when freed from dry and sensitive skin.

The result of the quiz provides a glimpse to one’s personality that ranges from being a savvy collaborator, inspiring innovator, charismatic motivator and elegant sophisticate. This challenge reveals hints that may help women embrace and live life to the fullest.

The Free In My Skin campaign coincides with the debut of the new Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy line.

The new Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy line is a differentiated science-based solution which features the unique Physiogel BioMimic Technology that soothes and repairs the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It is non-comedogenic, and free from soap, preservatives, perfumes and colorants.

Physiogel products are available at all Mercury drug stores.
