Mega Prime Foods Inc. (MPFI), through its flagship brand Mega Sardines, honored the significant role of Filipino staple sardines as an affordable and nutritious go-to for Filipino families by taking a day of celebration and transforming it into a whole month of celebration this November. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While National Sardines Day is officially observed on\nNovember 24, MPFI spent the month with a series of on-ground events held in key\nregions, showcasing the beloved Filipino staple in creative, interactive ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The events were\nheld on November 3, in Albay, covering the hardest-hit areas of Libon,\nLapu-Lapu, and Taysan, where MPFI also provided essential relief support to\nfamilies affected by Typhoon Kristine, further emphasizing its commitment to\nthe community. Following Albay, events continued in Tuguegarao, where MPFI\ndelivered similar relief efforts to support local families in need; November\n15, at Mactan Shrine in Cebu; November 17, at Davao City Recreation Center in\nDavao; and November 24, at Market! Market! in Metro Manila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National\nSardines Day Celebration in Metro Manila<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the official National Sardines Day, MPFI held a grand\ncelebration at the Market! Market! in Taguig, with a lineup of executing\nactivities inspired by the classic Filipino Fiesta \u2013 Perya!<\/strong> Inspired by the lively, colorful tradition of town\ncarnivals, the event created a festive \u201cPeryahan\nsa Bayan<\/em>\u201d vibe that delighted attendees, much like a traveling carnival\nthat brings joy and entertainment from one town to another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fiesta-themed celebration featured fun and interactive\nbooths that engaged visitors of all ages. Attendees experience games, win\nprizes, and discover new ways to enjoy Mega Sardines products through a\nhands-on experience. The event also included a unique DIY bar, where\nparticipants could mix and match various ready-to-eat ingredients with Mega\nSardines products to create their own flavorful combinations, showcasing the\nversatility of this Filipino staple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esteemed guests from MPFI Marvin Tiu Lim<\/strong>, brand ambassador Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo<\/strong>, popular food content creator Ninong Ry<\/strong>, and well-loved YouTube\npersonality Cong TV<\/strong> graced the\nevent, joining the festivities and connecting with fans. Their presence\nhighlighted MPFI\u2019s ongoing commitment to nourishing Filipino households and\nstrengthening community bonds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
