Agoda\u2019s latest Return Visitor Ranking reveals that 70% of Filipino travelers return to their favorite destinations. The ranking, which was compiled from a survey conducted on the Agoda platform earlier this month, shows Japan, Thailand, and South Korea are leading the pack as the ultimate hotspots for returning visitors, followed by Taiwan and Hong Kong. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agoda surveyed travelers who just booked a new\ntrip to their favorite destination. The largest group of respondents from the\nPhilippines 54% cited adventure as the main purpose for their upcoming trip.\n44% are traveling for food, while 25% declared celebrations to be their main\ntravel purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>55% of travelers have visited their favorite\ndestination between 1 to 3 times in the past decade, making up the largest\nchunk of repeat visitors. 10% of travelers have even visited their favorite\ndestination ten times or more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mike Hwang, Country Director for the\nPhilippines <\/strong>at Agoda shared, \u201cWhere some make it a habit\nto globetrot, others find pleasure in revisiting their favorite destinations.\nAgoda\u2019s Return Visitor Ranking shows that for Filipino travelers, Japan,\nThailand, and South Korea are more than just destinations, they are experiences\nthat travelers crave to relive. Agoda is proud to facilitate these journeys,\noffering a diverse range of accommodations, flights, and activities to make any\ntrip enjoyable, no matter if it\u2019s the first or the tenth.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked what makes Japan, Thailand, and\nSouth Korea so irresistible, half of Filipino respondents chose &#8220;Ease of\nTravel&#8221; at 50% as the primary reason. \u201cLocal Cuisine\u201d at 47% was a close\nsecond, followed by \u201cConvenient location\u201d at 34%, \u201cSafety and Cleanliness\u201d at\n33%, and \u201cPrevious Positive Experience\u201d at 30% to round out the top five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking at the survey data from an Asia-wide\nperspective, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam are the destinations that Asian\ntravelers can\u2019t get enough of, respectively 44% of Asian travelers listed \u201cEase\nof Travel\u201d as the main reason for going back to their favorite destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, this aligns with the\npreferences of Filipino travelers, who also prioritize ease of travel and local\ncuisine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agoda offers travelers great deals on a wide\nrange of accommodations, flights, and activities for everyone looking to\nrevisit their favorite destinations.
