P<\/span>ico Sands Hotel is the newest hotel partner of global environmental solutions-provider World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). A tropical contemporary hotel located within Pico de Loro Cove, the premier sustainable residential community of Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas. Pico Sands Hotel is the latest supporter of Check Out for Nature<\/span><\/i>, a WWF initiative that allows guests to add one dollar (US$1) to their bill in support of the various environmental programs of WWF in the Philippines.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Check Out for Nature<\/span><\/i> was initiatied by the WWF Global Network and The Leading Hotels of the World<\/i> in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to encourage responsible travel through a donation to WWF when checking out of a hotel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur partnership with WWF and our participation in the Check Out for Nature<\/i> initiative provides an opportunity for Pico Sands Hotel and its guests to make a positive impact in the conservation of our natural resources and will help support the numerous environmental projects of WWF in the Philippines,\u201d said Pico Sands Hotel manager Faye Deloso. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hamilo Coast is located at the mouth of the Verde Island Passage in Batangas and hosts an incredible array of life \u2013 ranging from giant clams, marine turtles, endangered Philippine teak trees, migratory birds, and long-tailed macaques.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our partnership with Pico Sands Hotel for Check Out for Nature strengthens our shared commitment to develop fresh ways to safeguard our natural environment,\u201d added WWF-Philippines VP\u00a0for marketing and corporate relations Ethel Villanoy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

WWF-Philippines and Pico de Loro Cove have so far implemented initiatives on coastal resource management, sustainable property development, solid waste management, ecotourism, and renewable energy.
