{"id":8901,"date":"2024-01-09T19:33:29","date_gmt":"2024-01-09T11:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/?p=8901"},"modified":"2024-01-09T19:34:07","modified_gmt":"2024-01-09T11:34:07","slug":"pru-life-uk-announces-new-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/pru-life-uk-announces-new-ceo\/","title":{"rendered":"Pru Life UK announces new CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Pru Life UK announced the appointment of Sanjay Chakrabarty as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 February 2024, subject to regulatory approval.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solmaz Altin,\nPrudential Strategic Business Group\nManaging Director, said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted that we have strong talent across the Prudential Group to support our\nambitious growth plans, and Sanjay will bring a wealth\nof industry experience to Pru Life UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn particular, Sanjay\nwill look to strengthen our strategic partnerships in one of Prudential\u2019s key markets and cultivate an agency force that fulfils\nour mission of being our customers\u2019 most trusted\npartner and protector,\u201d added Mr. Altin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Chakrabarty has deep knowledge of the banking\nand insurance sectors,\nhaving worked across multiple Asian markets for the past 26 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has been with Prudential since 2014 and is currently the CEO of Prudential Cambodia as well\nas Prudential\u2019s Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar Hub. In these roles, he has successfully\nled a cross-markets team, implementing several strategic initiatives with material impact in all three markets. Driving innovation and growth, Mr. Chakrabarty reinstated\nPrudential\u2019s Cambodia business to #1 position in the market. He is deeply\ncommitted to driving a customer-centric approach, and to creating a culture of\nexcellence that attracts and retains the best talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pru Life UK is\none of the leading life insurance companies in the Philippines with the largest\nagency network in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Chakrabarty added: \u201cI\u2019m really excited to join the winning team in one of most vibrant and fastest growing markets in Asia. He has also worked for Citibank in Japan and Korea between 2004-14, heading several functions spanning risk and business. At Prudential, Mr. Chakrabarty has served as CEO of Prudential Vietnam Finance Company and as Chief Commercial Officer at Prudential Vietnam.
