{"id":8251,"date":"2023-03-28T11:29:25","date_gmt":"2023-03-28T03:29:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/?p=8251"},"modified":"2023-03-28T11:29:26","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T03:29:26","slug":"manulife-investment-management-makes-investing-more-accessible-exciting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/manulife-investment-management-makes-investing-more-accessible-exciting\/","title":{"rendered":"Manulife Investment Management makes investing more accessible, exciting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Manulife Investment Management and Trust Corporation (Manulife IM Philippines) announces that it has recently lowered its minimum investment amount for all its funds from PHP 5,000 to PHP 1,000 starting March 2023, making investing in local and global Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) even more accessible to more Filipinos. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the following funds will shift from semi-annual to monthly income payouts starting August 1, 2023, allowing investors to see more frequent growth in their investments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Manulife Asia Dynamic Bond Feeder Fund <\/strong>invests in a diversified portfolio of\nfixed-income securities issued by governments, agencies, supra-nationals, and\ncorporate issuers located primarily in Asia, and aims to generate income by\nseeking to derive benefits from the interest rate, credit, and currency\nopportunities within a risk-controlled investment approach.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Manulife Global Preferred Income Feeder Fund<\/strong> aims to provide regular income distribution and\nlong-term capital growth by investing in preferred securities listed or traded\nin any regulated market worldwide.&nbsp;\nPreferred securities are known for sharing similar features with stocks\nand bonds, enabling investors to experience the best of both worlds. At the\nsame time, their performance has historically shown a \u201clow correlation\u201d\nrelative to stocks or bonds, meaning preferred securities can still offer\nattractive gains even when returns on other asset classes are declining.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Manulife Global Multi-Asset Diversified Income\nFeeder Fund <\/strong>targets to generate\nincome through a wide range of traditional and non-traditional assets and a\nflexible investment strategy that seeks to provide a buffer against challenging\nmarket conditions across different regions. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Manulife Global REIT Feeder Fund<\/strong> invests in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)\nlisted and traded globally and in real estate securities and\/or cash and cash\nequivalents. REITs typically generate stable rental income, offering attractive\ndividend options for investors. Even in the face of high-interest rates, REITs\ntend to outperform other investments.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Manulife\u2019s\nAsia Pacific REIT Fund of Funds, which invests in a diversified portfolio of\nexchange-listed REITs in the Asia Pacific region, will continue to have\nsemi-annual payouts but will have a lowered minimum investment amount of Php\n1,000 starting March 2023.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investors\ncan receive their monthly income payouts via credit to their bank accounts or\narrange for them to be topped up to their funds so these can grow further over\ntime.
