Whoever said getting – and eventually keeping – pets can be tedious is, well, knowledgeable about what he\/she is talking about. After all, getting a furball isn’t that different from getting an extra member of your family – you will need to look after them, bathe them, feed them, play with them, snuggle with them, and – heck! – you even have to clean up after them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But what’s worth noting is that finding the right pet is always worth it for everything that your furball can give you.<\/p>\n

And as you consider getting one, your life can be made simpler…<\/p>\n

Adopt a pet.<\/strong>
\nWhy buy when you can adopt one?\u00a0 More than finding yourself a lifetime companion, you will be making a home for one in need of loving (as much as you, arguably). Spay or neuter your pet.<\/strong>
\nWe have too many homeless animals, as it is. Take some responsibility with yours by ensuring they don\u2019t add to the number \u2013 aside, of course, from the fact that spayed\/neutered pets actually live longer by eliminating the possibility of uterine, ovarian, and testicular cancer, and decreasing the incidence of prostate disease.<\/p>\n

Care for your pet\/s the right way.
\n<\/strong>This should be self-explanatory, but you know what people say about common sense \u2013 it\u2019s not so common. So spelling out the right ways of caring for the pets, forget reconstituted animal by-products (low-grade wastes from the beef and poultry industries) and opt for sustainable goods, instead; keeping them indoors\/in an enclosure; cleaning up their poop; and, yes, tagging them properly for monitoring (and ensuring that they are returned to you, if it came to that).<\/p>\n

Use natural pet-care and cleaning products.<\/strong>
\nForget the toxic-chemical-laced beauty products \u2013 if men don\u2019t want products like these, don\u2019t force your pets to use the same.\u00a0 It\u2019s THAT simple.<\/p>\n

Pets, not fads.<\/strong>
