Set in Los Angeles, this hard-hitting crime drama dives deep into a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend.\u00a0The Oath\u00a0<\/i>chooses to tread where most cop dramas don\u2019t,\u00a0<\/i>shedding light on corruption and \u201cpolice gang\u201d culture by examining secret societies that are nearly impossible to join. Only a select few make the cut but, once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies not only on the outside but also from within.<\/p>\n

Created by\u00a0Joe Halpin\u00a0<\/b>(\u201cHawaii Five-O<\/i>\u201d, \u201cSecrets and Lies<\/i>\u201d), the characters and relationships in\u00a0The Oath<\/i>\u00a0are informed by his first-hand experience working as a Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department deputy in South Central for 18 years, 12 of which was as an undercover officer.<\/p>\n
