Orosco, owner of OA Sweets, started looking at \u201canother business (to venture into) \u2013 something that is unique or not yet available in the market,\u201d she says. Inspiration came from \u201cmy friends, as well as clients, who were pregnant,\u201d she adds, as she invested around P100,000 to establish Sweet Curves (SC), a luxury safe hair, skin and body care line \u201cespecially created for women who are wishing to become pregnant, expectant mothers (and fathers, too), and those who are breastfeeding.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Sweet-Curves.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-270\" title=\"Sweet Curves\" src=\"http:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Sweet-Curves.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"622\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Sweet-Curves.jpg 622w, https:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Sweet-Curves-300x155.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 622px) 100vw, 622px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>SC\u2019s mission is to \u201cprovide safe and healthy body care products for you and your unborn baby, which do not contain harmful chemicals and ingredients typically found in many beauty products. Our products are formulated with almost organic ingredients and quality essential oils safe for pregnant women,\u201d Orosco says.<\/p>\n<p>SC\u2019s products include essential oils of chocolate (serving as an aphrodisiac, \u201cso love making never ends even during conception\u201d), and ylang-ylang flower (known for being an aphrodisiac, too, though also for its sedative sedative, relaxing and anti depressant qualities); and bath products like shampoos and conditioners, and bath salts\/liquids, blended with oils to assist \u201cwith physical exhaustion, insomnia, frigidity, impotence, depression, anxiety, nervous tension, and stress while having a calming and aphrodisiac effect\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The emphasis in SC\u2019s products, stresses Orosco, is \u201call of them are paraben free.\u201d A synthetic chemical, parabens are usually contained by \u201cleave-on products, such as skin lotions and creams, (and pose) great concern because of the long exposure time and opportunity for migration via the skin into the bloodstream,\u201d Orosco says. \u201cThe recently discovered estrogenic effects of certain synthetic chemicals, such as the parabens, and their subsequent effects on the endocrine system of humans and wildlife, is of growing concern \u2014 especially in relation to women&#8217;s risk of breast cancer. Reproductive abnormalities in young boys exposed to such chemicals either prior to puberty or as fetuses may also increase risk for undescended testicles, testicular cancer, sperm abnormalities, and prostate disorders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to introduce products that are safe for women who are pregnant to look pretty and safe for the unborn baby. SC is dedicated to protecting the baby-to-be, while keeping Mama beautiful,\u201d Orosco ends. <em>\u2013 With R.E.E.
