This is why we know that Silang in Cavite has a LOT to offer (even if it may be considered provincial, and even more than, say, Las Pi\u00f1as that is part of Metro Manila). And this is why we know that Antipolo has 24-hour venues even if Quezon City or the City of Manila \u201csleeps\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The intent to discover affordable yet not-bad steaks \u2013 in particular \u2013 was what led us to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/p\/The-Beef-Deli-Malolos-61555552005772\/\">The Beef Deli &#8211; Malolos<\/a>, which claims to offer meats \u201cfrom Australia to your plate\u201d in Bulacan.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@outragemag\/video\/7647061231345470728\" data-video-id=\"7647061231345470728\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;\" >\n<section> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@outragemag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@outragemag?refer=embed\">@outragemag<\/a> <a title=\"lgbt\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/lgbt?refer=embed\">#LGBT<\/a> checking <a title=\"steakhouse\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/steakhouse?refer=embed\">#steakhouse<\/a> The Beef Deli-Malolos in <a title=\"bulacan\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/bulacan?refer=embed\">#Bulacan<\/a> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"\u266c original sound  - Outrage Magazine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/original-sound-Outrage-Magazine-7647061282047265557?refer=embed\">\u266c original sound  &#8211; Outrage Magazine<\/a> <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Una<\/em>, the place is easy to find <em>naman<\/em>\u2026 particularly for those with private vehicles. It is at the vicinity of the entrance to NLEX lang <em>din<\/em>, so you can access it if you\u2019re getting off or about to enter the expressway (as we did).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Ikalawa<\/em>, the venue was <em>masikip<\/em>, tight. Largely, this was because of not-ideal lay-out that seemed to prioritize being able to accommodate more customers than customer comfort. While there, expect <em>ingay<\/em>, too; you\u2019re seated too closely to other customers you can eavesdrop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Ikatlo<\/em> (and I took this down in my notes, too), the service was REALLY slow. We had to remind the waiters to: set our table (we were seated for a while already), provide us with cutlery, and give us some water. It didn\u2019t help that the two servers who approached us did not know what\u2019s in their menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Ika-apat<\/em>, the food was\u2026 hit and miss, with more misses than hits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sweet &amp; Beefy Spaghetti (\u20b1650) was\u2026 more sweet, less beefy. Imagine Jollibee\u2019s spaghetti, now make it even sweeter, and you\u2019d get an idea of what was given to us. Particularly since there\u2019s less beef here, and more sausage slices. The accompanying bread also tasted burnt, not grilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Absolutely Meatzza Pizza (\u20b1550) was not just not as meaty (considering its name), but was also too sweet, with a <em>tinapay<\/em>-like dough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the steak, we got the two-for-the-price-of-one Premium Ribeye (\u20b11,560), cooked MR. Here\u2019s the thing: the steak was okay <em>naman<\/em>, as it seemed properly seasoned and properly grilled. But when served to us, it was already cold, like it waited in the kitchen. So <em>natulog na ang mantika <\/em>when served, and slight <em>kadiri na<\/em> in the mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We didn\u2019t finish the food, so we had them wrapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, to add drama: when we arrived home, we found that the steak we asked to wrap wasn\u2019t in the take-home bag. I, personally, was annoyed; we didn\u2019t exactly have a good experience there, and then\u2026 they didn\u2019t even pack what we already paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I contacted the number of the company that\u2019s listed online, and \u2013 this is a great part \u2013 I received a proper response. I was told that, after some tracing, the leftover food was found. I was also told that, without charging me, they will have the leftover delivered to us the next day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, after reheating the leftover steak, they had it delivered to us\u2026 without charging us (as if I should be thankful for that, LOL). And NOT that I was expecting anything else, but the meat was all they sent; overcooked (due to reheating) stale steak that we didn\u2019t get to enjoy anymore because of The Beef Deli \u2013 Malolos. No apology for the bad experience via some kind of compensation like\u2026 a serving of French fries <em>man lang<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The place is okay-appearing <em>naman<\/em>, TBH. But Bulacan has a lot of venues to check, so we\u2019re giving this a hard pass for revisiting <em>na muna<\/em>.
