So, yeah, it is always good to keep your eyes peeled so you won\u2019t miss what may be good Vietnamese restaurants outside of Vietnam.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@outragemag\/video\/7583210855630638357\" data-video-id=\"7583210855630638357\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;\" >\n<section> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@outragemag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@outragemag?refer=embed\">@outragemag<\/a> Curious about <a title=\"vietnam\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/vietnam?refer=embed\">#Vietnam<\/a> food? <a title=\"lgbt\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/lgbt?refer=embed\">#LGBT<\/a> checking <a title=\"vietnamesecuisine\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/vietnamesecuisine?refer=embed\">#vietnamesecuisine<\/a> via <a title=\"hiddenvietnam\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/hiddenvietnam?refer=embed\">#HiddenVietnam<\/a> in <a title=\"cavite\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/cavite?refer=embed\">#Cavite<\/a> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"\u266c original sound  - Outrage Magazine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/original-sound-Outrage-Magazine-7583210896145156882?refer=embed\">\u266c original sound  &#8211; Outrage Magazine<\/a> <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But that\u2019s also why we decided to check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HiddenVietnam\/\">Hidden Vietnam<\/a>, a restaurant chain that may have originated from Tanza, Cavite but now has a handful of branches captivating pho-hunting diners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So\u2026 how was Hidden Vietnam for us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Una<\/em>, the original store \u2013 the branch we tried \u2013 is, yes, truly hidden. It\u2019s inside some village, so accessing it isn\u2019t easy for those without private vehicles. There\u2019s also no big signage in front of the residential-looking venue, so you could even miss it if you don\u2019t look hard enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ikalawa<\/em>, the actual venue is\u2026 homey. There are two \u201csections\u201d, so to speak, in the restaurant: one is where you order, and the other is where the bigger tables with more seating are. Yep, <em>malinis naman siya<\/em>\u2026 even if there were flies here and there during our visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ikatlo<\/em>, this is not just a Vietnamese restaurant as they now also offer Thai food (via Keri Thai).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ika-apat<\/em>, the people working there were friendly while elaborating about the business and its offerings (e.g. how many branches, where these are, the differences in seemingly similar offerings, and so on).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ikalima<\/em>, how was the food?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Fresh Rolls (\u20b1180) weren\u2019t dry, so were fresh and <em>malasa<\/em> (tasty). You don\u2019t get a lot of dip, though, so\u2026 stretch whatever is given to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Banh Mi BBQ (\u20b1185) was tolerable\u2026 if not for that mayo\/ketchup combo auto-slapped on what you get even if: it\u2019s not to your liking, and whatever was used isn\u2019t of okay quality for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Beef Pho (\u20b1205) was\u2026 refreshing, the soup base actually flavorful to properly complement the more-than-enough beef slices, veggies and noodles. Alas, not enough pho condiments here, so if you want to PROPERLY season your pho, well then, sorry to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Shrimp Pad Thai (\u20b1175), sadly, didn\u2019t taste like Pad Thai at all. It\u2019s supposedly because they use a \u201cspecial sauce\u201d. Though for us, if Pad Thai no longer tastes like Pad Thai it shouldn\u2019t be sold as such\u2026 sorry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images The offerings are not bad at all, particularly considering their prices. But is it worth to <em>dayo<\/em>, to seek out? Not when there are already branches in cities, malls, and so on. Plus the availability of numerous Vietnamese restaurants now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But that\u2019s why we continue heading out in search of more <em>lafang<\/em> venues\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Hidden Vietnam is located at Sta.
