(MPFI) is looking to increase its export sales by penetrating more export markets. The company is also targeting an initial public offering (IPO) as part of its long-term growth strategy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michelle Tiu Lim-Chan, president and CEO at Mega Prime Foods, Inc. said they are aiming to increase their exports from 5% to 10% over the next three years with key export markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of MPFI\u2019s key export markets include United Arab Emirates, and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are opening up to the global market. We want to show the world that sardines is a \u201csuperfood\u201d so even other nationalities they should eat sardines because that\u2019s good for their health,\u201d Tiu Lim-Chan said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The US-based Medical Wellness Association (MWA) has endorsed Mega Sardines as a \u201cSuperfood\u201d, the first sardine brand to receive such recognition in the world because of its essential nutrients and its adherence to strict food safety standards. Tiu Lim-Chan also noted that their product is of higher quality than others as they use the freshest fish in preparing their sardines. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its growth strategy, MPFI also aims its revenues to grow double digit in the future, as the company is planning to go public through an initial public offering within the next two to three years. The company aims to leverage IPO to accelerate growth and maintain its market leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tiu Lim-Chan said the company is getting ready for an IPO which will form part of the company\u2019s long-term growth strategy. For now, the company is preparing by actively exploring acquisition opportunities to expand and diversify its product lines and acquiring new brands. It has already acquired the Jimm\u2019s Coffee Mix.
