So for those who do not dwell in Tagaytay or nearby Batangas and Cavite areas, this isn\u2019t exactly near. Meaning, you should be willing to allocate more time and more money to visit this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ikalawa<\/em>, the actual resto will remind you of homes turned into eateries\u2026 like those you\u2019d find in residential places in Bangkok (though this one offers Italian food, obviously). With an open-air setting, don\u2019t expect fine dining level set-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ikatlo<\/em>, the staff\u2019s quite good \u2013 e.g. we had an issue with parking, no thanks to the resto\u2019s neighbor, and the care given while dealing with the issue was good. Now and then, you\u2019d see the young owners here, too, engaging with customers. This is like a communal <em>kainan<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery aligncenter has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ika-apat<\/em>, the food\u2019s not bad\u2026 generally speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With pizza, one of the best decisions this resto made was to offer Pizza Four Flavor (\u20b1650), so you can try more for cheaper (usual pizzas cost from \u20b1300 to over \u20b1600). So we\u2019ve tasted Hawaiian, Pizza Salsiccia, Quattro Formaggi, and Pizza Peperoni\u2026 all in one go. And we can say that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can tell the pizzas were freshly made; served straight out of the oven, <em>mainit-init<\/em> <em>pa<\/em>, so <em>tugma<\/em> when eating in the cool temp of Tagaytay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Di tinipid sa sahog<\/em>, so you actually get enough ingredients\u2026 not just bread.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Hindi mamantika<\/em>, so if you\u2019re used to eating oily or greasy pizza, the version here isn\u2019t that.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The bread of the pizza we got had burnt parts (like: <em>itim<\/em> level burns); we just scraped them and they did not, overall, affect the taste <em>naman<\/em>, but we\u2019re mentioning all the same.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We also ordered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cotoletta alla Pizzaiola with Pasta Meatballs (\u20b1260), basically chicken with pasta with meatballs. With this one, we\u2019re sort of not impressed (sorry). True, the meatballs were better-than-okay. But the sauce was quite sweet; <em>parang tinugma lang sa panlasang Pinoy<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cotoletta alla Pizzaiola with Pesto (\u20b1220), basically chicken with pesto spaghetti. The chicken wasn\u2019t bad\u2026 but it\u2019s not something you\u2019d remember. With the pasta <em>naman<\/em>, it was too creamy for us; it needed more pesto taste than cream (sorry).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>While I won\u2019t necessarily say that you should go out of your way to <em>dayo<\/em> this place, this place is a better-than-okay pizzeria if you\u2019re in Tagaytay.
