So yeah\u2026 having high expectations is to be expected.<\/p>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@outragemag\/video\/7500152656581905682\" data-video-id=\"7500152656581905682\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;\" >\n<section> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@outragemag\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@outragemag?refer=embed\">@outragemag<\/a> <a title=\"lomi\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/lomi?refer=embed\">#Lomi<\/a> in <a title=\"batangas\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/batangas?refer=embed\">#Batangas<\/a>? For this <a title=\"lgbtq\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/lgbtq?refer=embed\">#lgbtq<\/a> trip, we tried <a title=\"liamslomihouse\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/liamslomihouse?refer=embed\">#liamslomihouse<\/a> in <a title=\"lipacity\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/lipacity?refer=embed\">#LipaCity<\/a> and had doubts if turning it into <a title=\"fastfood\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/tag\/fastfood?refer=embed\">#fastfood<\/a> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"\u266c original sound  - Outrage Magazine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/original-sound-Outrage-Magazine-7500152949013809921?refer=embed\">\u266c original sound  &#8211; Outrage Magazine<\/a> <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But \u2013 removing the food vlogger BS \u2013 how was it for us, <em>sa totoo lang<\/em>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Una<\/em>, this is an extremely popular place. <em>Nagkakaubusan ng<\/em> parking, <em>hindi<\/em> enough <em>ang<\/em> seats so <em>nag-aagawan ng<\/em> tables <em>ang mga tao<\/em>, the queue to order can get really \u2013 really \u2013 long, and so on. For an open-air resto, <em>siksikan pa rin dito<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ikalawa<\/em>, if I think of <em>lomi<\/em> as fastfood, this is what comes to mind. You know the \u201csystem\u201d \u2013 i.e. queue to order, look for a seat, order will be delivered to you, and so on. Because of this, the place can get impersonal; don\u2019t expect to experience the Batangue\u00f1o warmth here, <em>trabaho lang<\/em> all in this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery <em>ikatlo<\/em>, how was the food?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The \u201cstyle\u201d of Liam\u2019s Lomi House is similar to <em>lugaw<\/em>. That is, they have a \u201cbase\u201d, the basic noodle soup. This is then added with the topping you order. For instance, if you ordered <em>lechon lomi <\/em>(\u20b1135), you get the same-tasting <em>lomi<\/em> as beef <em>lomi <\/em>(\u20b1135) or liver <em>lomi<\/em> (\u20b1125)\u2026 except for the topping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aside from the toppings, this one has no other <em>sahog<\/em>. No <em>gulay<\/em> or <em>lamas<\/em> or whatever.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Batangas <em>lomi<\/em> has <em>malapot<\/em> \u2013 or thick or viscous \u2013 <em>sabaw<\/em>. Almost <em>laway<\/em>-like. If you\u2019re not into something like this, avoid <em>na lang<\/em>. Although the <em>sabaw<\/em> becomes runny <em>naman<\/em> over time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are other offerings \u2013 e.g. various types of <em>silog<\/em> (from \u20b145 for <em>silog<\/em> to \u20b1140 for <em>lechonsilog<\/em>, <em>liemsilog<\/em>, <em>chicksilog<\/em> and so on). Those toppings for the <em>lomi<\/em> are what you get here, too.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saving grace <em>nila<\/em> is the pork BBQ on stick. If you\u2019re a fan of Amber\u2019s BBQ, you\u2019d get the appeal here. You get a properly cooked still-juicy and <em>manamis-namis na<\/em> BBQ.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Liam&#8217;s Lomi House is now a tourist trap; too many drop by this place because it has made a name <em>na<\/em>. Good for those who liked what they got. We\u2019re happy for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But <em>kami<\/em>?
