AIA Philippines has continued to champion its purpose of helping people live healthier, longer, better lives by supporting the 2024 ASICS Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Running Series Manila as presenting sponsor for the second consecutive year. Held on November 23-24, 2024, the event brought together over 9,000 runners from 58 countries, transforming Manila\u2019s streets into a dynamic celebration of fitness, music, and community spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manila, the only Asian stop on the\nglobal Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll tour, offered runners a choice of 5K, 10K, 21K, and 42K\ndistances on a unique AIMS and World Athletics-certified course, highlighting\nthe city’s historical beauty. Runners, from first-timers to seasoned\nmarathoners, enjoyed live music along the route, passing iconic landmarks like\nRizal Park, the National Museum, Fort Santiago, and Binondo Chinatown, before\nculminating in a spectacular finish-line festival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We\u2019re thrilled to be part of\nthe lone Asian stop for this global celebration of health and wellness,”\nsaid AIA Philippines Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Henson. “The Rock \u2018n\u2019\nRoll Running Series embodies our mission to inspire Filipinos to embrace an\nactive lifestyle and invest in their health and well-being. This event is a\ncelebration not just of fitness, but also of the community spirit and joy that\ncome with achieving personal goals.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with The Ironman\nGroup, AIA\u2019s involvement went beyond the race. The AIA Health and Wellness\nExpo, which kicked off during the race week, became a central hub where\nparticipants could access exclusive promotions, expert advice, and exciting\nbrand activations. “We\u2019re proud to support this growing community,”\nsaid Henson. “Our involvement in the Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Running Series is just\none of the many ways we\u2019re encouraging Filipinos to prioritize active living\nand build connections within their communities.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To amplify its broader mission,\nAIA launched the AIA One Billion initiative, which aims to engage a billion\npeople across Asia in healthier lifestyles. The\nenergetic post-run festival, with live performances by Reujen Lista & the\nTrinidad Band, Brad & Nina Band, Gracenote, and Jason Fernandez, captured\nthe unique spirit of Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, the 2025 Rock \u2018n\u2019\nRoll Running Series Manila will be known as the AIA Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Run, with AIA\nPhilippines as title sponsor. AIA is committed to raising the bar even higher\nthrough expanded entertainment, enhanced course features, and new wellness\ninitiatives are set to deliver an even more memorable event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
