This flexible work setup nowadays is convenient for Charlene Miole, a BPO employee. \u201cMas marami akong oras para sa gawaing bahay at mas maraming bonding time sa family ko. Rise of on-demand delivery\nservices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food\ndelivery rider, Conrado Collado, shared that the pandemic rather unexpectedly\nprovided better opportunities as more consumers order their meals online.\nHowever, Collado admitted that he is sometimes overworked, causing recurring\nbody pains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSumasakit\nang katawan ko lalo na kapag buong araw ako bumibiyahe\u2014byahe ng motor, lakad\ndito, lakad [doon]. Meanwhile,\ngetting laid off during the pandemic was the biggest worry of Joel Lim, a\nsecurity guard. This pushed him to work harder to stay on the job to support\nhis family, oftentimes, at the expense of his health. \u201cMatindi \u2018yung naging\npangamba ko na mawalan ng trabaho noong pandemic, kaya ngayong unti-unti na\ntayo bumabawi, patuloy pa rin ako kumakayod. Kapag masakit ang katawan ko,\nbukod sa paglagay ng ointment, sinasabayan ko rin ng pain reliever para\ntuloy-tuloy talaga sa trabaho.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
