AXA has long been guided by its sustainability pillars centered around climate change and biodiversity, as well as inclusive protection. In the Philippines, the company has partnered with numerous groups and causes that share the same advocacy. This August, AXA Philippines is partnering with Oceanus Conservation, a science-based non-profit environmental organization focusing on the conservation and restoration of blue carbon habitats in the Philippines, to promote ocean literacy to Filipino children.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being an archipelago, the\nPhilippines has a rich biodiversity. However, access to marine environmental\neducation remains limited around the country. Oceanus aims to invest in the\nfuture of Filipinos through marine environmental education in local communities\nand marine-field programs that promote better appreciation of the country\u2019s\nmarine life. Recently, they launched their second educational children\u2019s\nstorybook, \u201cOcean Adventures with Cory,\u201d that shines a light on the impact of\nclimate change on coral reefs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For every AXA Philippines customer who will sign up, pay their premium\nfor the first time, or do top-ups on Emma by AXA through the app or website\nfrom July 25 to August 31, AXA Philippines will donate ocean education\nstorybooks to the children of Oceanus\u2019 partner local communities through AXA\nHearts in Action, AXA’s volunteer program. Customers who successfully register to\nEmma by AXA will also receive an electronic certificate to commemorate their\ndonation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through Emma by AXA and AXA Hearts in Action, AXA Philippines aims to be\nan avenue that supports relevant social causes. Recently, they also had the\n\u201cAdopt a Mangrove Seedling\u201d program wherein mangroves were planted on behalf of\ncustomers. The company also\norganized a bayanihan<\/em> drive in partnership with Cropital, a program that\ndirectly support local farmers, wherein AXA Philippines purchased rice from\nCropital farmers and donated these to beneficiary communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emma by AXA allows safe and\nconvenient in-app transactions for AXA customers such as checking of policy\ninformation real-time and hassle-free filing of hospitalization and motor\nclaims. Non-AXA customers can also get free 24\/7 access to emergency services\nsuch as roadside, medical, fire, and police assistance. The app also allows\nusers to contact their loved ones in case of emergencies quickly, letting them\nlist up to three emergency contacts on the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, AXA customers can easily\naccomplish other essential transactions on the app, such as accessing their\nePolicy, avail medical teleconsultation, and access their Global Health Access\nor Health Care Access eCard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
