{"id":5282,"date":"2020-03-14T04:57:12","date_gmt":"2020-03-14T04:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/?p=5282"},"modified":"2020-03-14T05:17:06","modified_gmt":"2020-03-14T05:17:06","slug":"curfew-to-be-imposed-on-locked-down-metro-manila","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/zestmag.com\/online\/curfew-to-be-imposed-on-locked-down-metro-manila\/","title":{"rendered":"Curfew to be imposed on locked down Metro Manila"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said that a nine-hour curfew will be imposed during the community quarantine in Metro Manila, which will be enforced beginning midnight of March 15 until April 14, subject to daily review.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The curfew in Metro Manila will be from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be exceptions &#8211; e.g. workers, and those responsible for essential tasks (such as medical practitioners, food delivery people, etc). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malls have also already been asked to close down temporarily during the lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the MMDA assured that supermarkets\/groceries, banks and other essential facilities will remain open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The curfew order was made by the Metro Manila Council, which is composed of the region&#8217;s mayors.
