The company recently launched a new high-performane blended\ncement product called Holcim Solido for key infrastructures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from\nproviding reliable cement supply, leading cement maker Holcim Philippines is\ncommitted to continue rolling out innovative building solutions to help the\ncountry amid the construction boom as partners use these materials to better\nexecute their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holcim\nPhilippines\u2019 latest offering is its high-performance blended cement brand Solido,\nwhich is designed as a better alternative for infrastructure building to the\ncommonly used ordinary Portland cement. Designed to provide concrete with\nhigher strength and durability as well as better workability for faster and\neasier application, Holcim Solido has been positively accepted by the company\u2019s\nclients nationwide since its launch in March. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partners\nalso approve of Holcim Solido for being a more environmentally friendly option\nsince it is produced with lower emissions. Moreover, the innovative product\ndesign of Solido enables Holcim Philippines to extend its cement volumes and\nimprove its ability to supply the strong construction activity in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another Holcim\nproduct that is well-received by the market is the Superfast-Crete (SFCrete), a\none-day concrete technology for quick road repairs in highly-urban areas. As of\nDecember 2018, SFCrete has been used to re-block several sections of the\nEpifanio de los Santos Avenue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SFCrete will\nagain be used during the Holy Week to repair the northbound lane of the\nMagallanes interchange and southbound lane between Kamuning and Aurora\nBoulevard. With SFCrete, roads are passable in 24 hours or less thus preventing\ncommuter inconvenience from prolonged closure related to repairs. The\nDepartment of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) approved the use of SFCrete for\nroad projects in December 2016 under Department Order 235.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holcim\nPhilippines is also currently working to get DPWH accreditation for government\nprojects to use its soil stabilization technology which improves the\nsuitability of ground where roads will be built. The better soil condition can\nhelp these projects avoid durability issues and project delays related with\ninclement weather, scarcity of quality aggregates and transportation of more\nsuitable soil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Holcim\nPhilippines Senior Vice President for Sales William Sumalinog said the roll out\nof these solutions together with the company\u2019s commitment to provide reliable\ncement supply reflect of its intent to continue being a&nbsp; partner for the country\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a member\nof the LafargeHolcim Group, Holcim Philippines has access to a wide range of\nproven construction solutions to help builders all over the world.
