Make sure you take care of yourself"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Stress is something people have experienced for centuries &#8211; but we haven&#8217;t seen an epidemic like it until the modern day. We now live such fast-paced, busy lives that the stress we experience is tenfold compared to what people went through a hundred years ago. This is probably not helped by the fact that a lot of people are still recovering from the financial crash, and social media is also cited as a common cause for stress among the younger generation too. In its most dangerous form, stress can be all-consuming, and can easily stop us from performing well in our careers or even going about our daily business in a normal manner. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are many mental AND physical symptoms of stress that you may experience, including <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.calmclinic.com\/anxiety\/symptoms\/dry-mouth\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">constant anxiety, dry mouth<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sweaty palms and a feeling of restlessness. None of these are particularly pleasant, which is why you should place certain measures in place to take care of yourself when times get stressful. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Solve the problem as best you can<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A lot of the time, many of us experience stress as a result of things we don&#8217;t have any control over. In these scenarios, worrying is futile, as it only gets you worked up without getting any closer to solving the problem. Taking action can be a hard step to take, especially if there is a certain amount of risk involved, but it will undoubtedly pay off. Fuelling your body with processed foods will only feed your lethargy, and you may even feel guilty about such food choices.
