Grafton is often referred to as the jacaranda capital of <span class=\"m_-6319894185052554193xn-location\">Australia<\/span>, it hosts the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/nl.prnasia.com\/u.html?stime=1477531846&amp;uid=nlprnasia&amp;eid=50350&amp;email=editor@outragemag.com&amp;stid=1491291&amp;thid=207688&amp;tlid=207688&amp;url=~16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/nl.prnasia.com\/u.html?stime%3D1477531846%26uid%3Dnlprnasia%26eid%3D50350%26email%3Deditor@outragemag.com%26stid%3D1491291%26thid%3D207688%26tlid%3D207688%26url%3D~16&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1477667279335000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEJ_qNaSz660VoIgf_Iu8CPYnlNeA\">Grafton Jacaranda Festival <\/a>, and is home to <span class=\"m_-6319894185052554193xn-location\">Australia&#8217;s <\/span>largest jacaranda tree, measuring 30 meters high with a six meter circumference and crown of around 36 meters.<\/p>\n<p>Destination NSW CEO <span class=\"m_-6319894185052554193xn-person\">Sandra Chipchase <\/span>said, &#8220;NSW is home to thousands of jacaranda trees which create a natural spectacle each year when they are in full bloom. Grafton alone has 2,000 trees and the annual Festival is the longest running flower festival in <span class=\"m_-6319894185052554193xn-location\">Australia <\/span>attracting 20,000 visitors each year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Senior Arborist for the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and Centennial Parklands, <span class=\"m_-6319894185052554193xn-person\">Ted Hoare <\/span>says Sydney&#8217;s Harbour backdrop makes the jacaranda season so spectacular.\u00a0&#8220;It&#8217;s a truly beautiful sight to view the vibrant blue flowers are set against a Harbour backdrop.
