SMEG Philippines recently opened its flagship store at the Park Terraces in Makati. And it\u2019s not your ordinary showroom, because it has a fully functioning kitchen where customers can expect to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, warm pastries, and even newly-tossed pizza as they shop for their new SMEG kitchen appliances.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe new Park Terraces store is representative of our brand\u2019s move into the lifestyle space. We are not just here to sell kitchen appliances, we are here to bring out the best in food, to bring people together, and to make dream spaces a reality,\u201d said Ton Concepcion, SMEG President.<\/p>\n

Dining selections for guests of the event were freshly prepared during live cooking demos using Nutraease cooking ware, demonstrating both the technology of the SMEG appliances, and the functionality of the Park Terraces store.\u00a0Complimentary to SMEG\u2019s transition into a lifestyle brand is the launching of its lifestyle magazine, Stile de Vita. <\/i>Featuring real life SMEG users and their passion for cooking, Stile de Vita\u2019s <\/i>pilot issue visits SMEG Ambassador, Master Chef Cyrille Soenen in his own home.<\/p>\n

Designed by distinguished architect, Gil Coscolluela, the SMEG Park Terraces store is an embrace of space and light. Upon entering, one is welcomed by rows and rows of beautiful SMEG appliances ranging from their wide selection of different design lines. Thanks to SMEG\u2019s trusted kitchen cabinet contractor, Optimus Space Solutions, the lifestyle store seamlessly features 5 different kitchen showcases, from the sleek Linea, to the retro Fab!<\/p>\n

While having only been in the Philippines for 9\u00a0years, SMEG is a well-established brand worldwide. SMEG actually stands for Smalterie Metallurgic Emiliane Guastalla, or Enamel Works from Guastalla Emilia. As with most brands, this one started out humbly, with blacksmiths crafting simple cookers back in the early half of the 19th century. Over 70 years later, the SMEG brand now carries a full spectrum of home appliances, and carries the mark of one of the world\u2019s best brands in its category.<\/p>\n

The Park Terraces store will also be open to private events and small gatherings.<\/p>\n
