YOGA

A far more gentle but still effective way to feel better while moving your body is through the practice of yoga. Yoga is an ancient technique that is designed to stretch and align the body and mind in preparation for medications.

However, not all yoga classes include this spiritual element these days. Some have been adapted in modern times to be a movement exercise which focuses on different postures or asanas, and the transition between them as a physical exercise only.

There are many different types of yoga, and you need to pick the right on for your fitness level to get the best results. For example, a person that isn’t fit may try slow flow yoga to start with to get beneficial results. Wheel someone that is super active may benefit more from a fast or heated class to allow their muscles to expand easier.

BOXING

Another way of moving your body to feel good that I have heard a lot of great things about is boxing. Now, it may sound counter-intuitive because of course there is a risk of injury with boxing. But really there’s always a risk of injury when we move our bodies.

Remember boxing is great aerobic exercise as it uses your whole body to avoid and attack. It’s also great for mental focus as well as working our tough emotions, and many people report they it’s quite cathartic experience for them.

Of course, it needs to be done properly, with properly training, and the right safety equipment, Which includes pads, gloves, headgear, and mouthguards. This minimizes the risk of any serious damage during a sparring session or a fight.
